The BRC Issue (Version) 8 Global Standard for Food Safety is a Food Safety Management System and recognized worldwide. It is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) approved scheme. BRC certification is designed to ensure food handling organisations produce food and food products that meet safety and quality requirements.
Introduction to the Course
This course is designed to introduce the principles and requirements of the standard. This will prepare the delegates for BRC certification audits, as well as provide an understanding of the elements and requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8.
Audits against the new Standard will commence in February 2019.

Minimum Entry Requirements
Delegates mush have a technical and working knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Management systems, as well as the principles of HACCP.
Delegates will be expected to have prior knowledge and experience with the implementation of BRC Issue 7.
If you are in the food industry and BRC certification is a requirement for your company, this course will assist delegates with a better understanding of the new BRC Issue 8 requirements.
This course is recommended for a smoother transition from the BRC Issue 7 to the new BRC Issue 8, which is coming into effect in February 2019.
