Course Introduction

Food defence and food fraud play an integral part in food safety, and the requirements are written into various food safety standards such as IFS, BRCGS and FSSC 22000.

This course will teach the learner the fundamentals of Food Fraud and Food Defence and how to implement VACCP and TACCP. It covers the different types of Food Fraud and their risks while delving into VACCP (Vulnerability Assessment Critical Control Point) strategies to prevent them.

You’ll gain a strong understanding of Food Defence principles and TACCP (Threat Assessment Critical Control Point), which will help you develop a robust plan against intentional contamination.
